The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual's mind, body and soul. It brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind; it helps manage stress and anxiety and keeps you relaxing. It also helps in increasing flexibility, muscle strength and body tone. It improves respiration, energy and vitality. Practicing yoga might seem like just stretching, but it can do much more for your body from the way you feel, look and move.
For all the students of classes VI - XII standard, we are providing yoga asanas to build strength, flexibility and confidence. Regular practice of yoga can help lose weight, relieve stress, improve immunity and maintain a healthier lifestyle.
SPORT
"TO ENSURE BOTH PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FITNESS"
Importance to sports is on par with academics. Health and fitness are the salient features of the curriculum. Structured physical education classes fill students with fun, enjoyment and also develop skills. Basic skills required to deliver the sport is imparted through the physical education classes. Skill sets like confidence, goal setting, team spirit, optimism and the like find a prominent place in the physical education curriculum.
Houses: Blue,Red,Green & Yellow
The students of classes VI - XII are divided into 4 houses and get an opportunity to participate in tournaments as individuals and as part of a group.
